Blue Ridge Bicycles offers a wide selection of bicycles for different people and uses. We provide expert assistance in selecting the proper bike type and model. Bicycles come in different sizes. And they're very adjustable. We find the right frame size for you and then dial in the fit by positioning the seat and handlebars, brake levers and shifters as required. This ensures comfort and that you're in complete control of your bike for safety. Our goal is to make your new bike as comfortable to ride and as easy to pedal as possible. We have years of experience in fitting bikes
to riders.

You might be surprised to learn that bicycles are not completely assembled at the factory. It's true. They're actually delivered to us disassembled and in a box, and we spend about an hour (depending on the model) assembling, tuning and testing every bike. Our technicians are always prepared to make adjustments and provide advice should you need assistance during a purchase or after a sale.

We're staffed by knowledgeable and enthusiastic cyclists who love to share their expertise. Need to learn how to shift, fix a flat, carry gear, pump your tires? Want to find the best places to ride or friends to pedal with? Just ask, and we'll be more than happy to help.

Bicycles are machines that require maintenance. One of the most important services is the first tune-up, which is due after you've ridden your new bike for a few weeks. During this time, cables might stretch, spokes may loosen and adjustments could change. For your new bike to ride right and last as long as possible, we provide a free tune-up where we thoroughly check all components. We stand behind every bike we sell. If something goes wrong, bring it in and we'll be happy to help you!

Mike and Rosalie in Florida
Florida is basically flat, but the state offers some nice
variety in landscapes.  We found the Withlacoochee Trail
north of Tampa one of the our favorite rail trails.  The trail is
46 miles long and runs through small towns, along lakes and streams, and is well maintained.  It even has some mild grades.  Just south and east of the Withlacoochee is the Suncoast Trail, another nice trail (fairly new) that runs along the Sun Coast Parkway.  This is also very nicely maintained.
It is a little more in the open (tree cover) and would be fairly hot in the mid-day sun on a hot day.  In the pictures you see here, our most exciting trail was the 15-mile trail just off route 41 between Naples and Homestead.  The trail is called Shark Valley (sorry, no sharks), but you will sure get your fill of alligators and wild birds from the Everglades. The trail is
very well maintained and offers a great adventure.  It will
keep you wide awake and ready to sprint at any time! We
had the opportunity to ride with a friend in Ormond Beach
on a "loop route" using quiet secondary roads.  The route
has been identified by the local Daytona Bike Club and
offers rides of 23, 32, and 47 miles.  The ride is flat, but enjoyable with an occasional hill in the form of a bridge
over the Halifax river.  Nice ride if you are ever in the area.
